Description

Terraria is a 2D sandbox game released by Re-Logic on May 16, 2011, which has a lot of Minecraft in it, and is even referred to by many players as a 2D version of Minecraft. The core content of Minecraft is creation, while the core of Terraria is exploration, which is like adding cube building elements to a Castlevania game.

In Terraria, the game map is randomly generated, but retains a large part of its design. There is a wide variety of terrain, each with its own unique buildings, monsters, treasures, and even elaborate mazes like replicas. But all of the randomness is based on basic logic, for example: you'll never find a beehive in the desert or encounter a mummy in the jungle.

Like Minecraft, the terrain in Terraria is almost always destructible; you see something good in your line of sight and just cut a path through it, greatly increasing the satisfaction you get from exploring. With exploration at the core of the game, there is bound to be motivation for players to want to keep moving forward. Castlevania in Terraria loses some of its refinement, but the diversity of the combat completely makes up for it. In the game, there are hundreds of monsters alone, and more than twenty carefully designed bosses, each with its own unique way of attacking, as opposed to monsters, the game offers hundreds of different equipment and weapons, which require players to collect materials and craft them themselves. Some will drop randomly after defeating specific monsters, and some are hidden in random treasure chests on the map, waiting for you to discover them.

In Terraria, you can fight for survival, you can fight for wealth, and you can fight for, this vast world is all yours to explore!

How To Play

After you first enter the game, you will face the only NPC and empty surrounding, this time you may be a little confused, because you do not know what to do. But as the night falls and the monsters around you become more and more numerous, you gradually become unable to resist and suddenly understand that building a house is extremely important. The house can withstand the monsters outside, you get a temporary shelter. Immediately after, you can begin to explore this unknown world, the surrounding environment will continue to change.

Collecting equipment with different abilities is the first element of your upbringing in the game. Good equipment can help you defend against monsters, and at first, you will be killed by monsters due to the lack of good equipment. By the middle and later stages of the game, you can either use different equipment according to your preference, or you can selectively prepare or even collect every kind of equipment according to the characteristics of the upcoming challenge boss, or the monsters in the corresponding area.

After you upgrade your maw, you will find new NPC characters attracted to you. Unlike the initial NPCs, these later ones have certain conditions for moving in, and some of them even require you to go to the map to find or rescue them. Each NPC has a different character as well as a unique function, and you can buy a variety of items with different functions from them and upgrade your equipment. They will offer to help you clear the monsters around your house and work with you to defend your house from different creatures in the middle and later stages. These NPCs will also provide you with various hints and side quests.
