Description

Slay the Spire is a game that combines roguelike and deck building.

We have blended card games and Roguelike games to create the best single player deck game. Create unique decks, meet countless bizarre creatures, discover powerful relics, and slay the tower!

Game Features

- Dynamically built decks: choose your cards carefully! Meet over a hundred different cards on your way up the tower, choose whether to add them to your deck, and combine and match them to bring out the power of your deck to defeat your enemies and challenge your way to the top.

- Ever-changing towers: Each time you begin your journey up a tower, the structure of the tower will change. Should you choose high risk and high reward, or proceed with caution? Face different enemies, choose different cards, discover different relics, and even challenge different bosses!

- Powerful Relics: In the tower you will find a variety of powerful items called relics that may create a powerful chemical reaction with your deck, allowing your battle power to soar. But don't be too careless, sometimes the price you pay to get a relic can be more than a small amount of money ......

How To Play

At the beginning of the game the player has to pick a character, each character has very different characteristics, with their own character skills, exclusive card types and so on. The goal of the game is to explore the tower from the bottom up, and there are several large floors in the game, each floor will have many tree branching routes, different routes may encounter a variety of events, such as fighting monsters, resting at the campfire, trading with merchants, random events, etc. [1]. At the end of each floor, a leader will appear, and after winning the battle, you can move to the next floor.

The game's battle system is turn-based. Each turn the player draws a fixed number of cards from his hand and receives a fixed amount of energy, and each card requires a different amount of energy to be used. When the player ends his turn, all unused cards will be sent to the discard pile. When all the cards in the draw pile are used up, the discard pile is reshuffled and returned to the draw pile. There are many different types of cards in the game, with two main characteristics: "color" and "type". For example, cards of "Attack" type will cause direct damage to the enemy; "Skill" cards are auxiliary in nature and will not cause damage at the moment, while some skill cards can increase Some skill cards can be used to reduce damage by increasing their "slot value", which usually only works for one turn, while others allow the player to draw new cards; "ability" cards have effects that last for the duration of the battle and disappear directly after use without entering the discard pushes. "Status" and "Curse" can cause negative effects on us, such as dizziness and burn, which normally cannot be played and take up space in the hand. Each battle is won with random money, cards or potions. In addition, there is also the "Relic" system, which has a significant impact on the game. Relics allow players to gain various benefits, such as automatic life restoration at the end of a battle, the ability to draw two more cards at the beginning of a battle, immunity to negative status, and so on. Each character will receive an exclusive relic at the beginning of the game, and there are opportunities to obtain new relics by defeating enemies or participating in random events.

The game also has the "randomness" of Roguelike, as the map, enemies, cards, and events are randomly generated each time you start the game, and once you die in battle, you can only start a new game from the beginning, with no way to go back. However, even if you fail, you may leave some permanent achievements, not worthless. After death in battle, the score will be settled, and the game will be scored for the degree of map exploration and the number of enemies killed, and new cards, props and events will be unlocked when a certain score is reached.
