So-called "treasure" can be anything from seashells (used as in-game currency) to random junk that can be put together to make things like sea radios and other trinkets. The treasures you find will eventually serve as decorations around the beach, allowing you to both clean up the ocean and beautify your surroundings. Every once in a while, you might just go diving and surface with another otter friend. The otters you collect can be renamed and may vary in rarity. They also have their favorite foods, and when they are well-fed, you can use them to go on more dives to different places. Sometimes, otters can get dirty or even sick, so you'll need to groom them, give them some medicine, and feed them - basically, you'll need to bathe your otter with lots of TLC, which really isn't hard to do given how cute they are.
